After the Servers Shut Down this week is the most organic streaming week the chart has ever seen since Playlist began being used to aid a songs performance on the charts.
On the Artist Chart Janet Jackson and Monica remain at #1 and #2 respectively while Brandy and Whitney Houston swap places at #3 and #4 with Nicki Minaj remaining at #5.
On the Album Chart "janet." crowns the chart for the first time in its 26 week run after re-peaking at #2 multiple times and lingering in the top 5 for 7 weeks. "Rhythm Nation 1814" slips to #2 making it Janet's 3rd time occupying the entire top 2 of the Album and Singles chart simultaneously. "The Boy Is Mine" which is Monica's hit album fell 1 spot to #3 reaching its lowest chart placement in its 10 week run which makes it the only album to spend its first 10 weeks in the top 3. "Never Say Never" by Brandy slips to #4 while "Queen" by Nicki Minaj re-enters the top 5.
The Singles chart sees "If" by Janet Jackson reaching a new peak of #1 rising 9 spots with "Come Back To Me" going down from #1 to #2 and "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" falling to #3. "Angel of Mine" falls down to #4 and "Giving You The Best That I Got" debuts at #5.
In Anticipation of new music being listened to next week the entire top 5 is going to be different.
