It's the Year of the Raven because Kelela is UNSTOPPABLE!
"Raven", Kelela's second studio album, moved 1 million units this past week for a total of 3.5m SPS (3m pure sales)! Kelela debuted "Raven" at #1 six weeks ago and it hasn't left the charts since. It has topped the charts four of the six weeks since premiering. Kelelas popularity in the Dovelands has also sent her other full length releases to the top (she had five releases in the top 20 this week). It's genuinely an Iconic Era for Kelela. She has moved over 4.6 million albums in 2023 so far. Only three months into 2023, and Kelela has already outsold the top-seller at the end of each year since 2019. She has claimed the year for herself, the year of the Raven!
See below for the full Dovelands' Top 20 Album Charts week ending: 03/25/2023. Let's note the spectacular #2 Debut of Yves Tumor's fourth major label LP/EP release, "Praise a Lord-...", moving 750,000 pure units, certifying as Gold in week #1. We look forward to next week to see how Yves and Kelela fare as Lana Del Rey releases her ninth studio album. Lana is the fifth best selling artist in history, her release; "-...Ocean Blvd", is expected to debut at #1 and break records.... stay tuned!
