What are the downsides of switching from scrobbles to last.fm api?
I tried the scrobbles feature, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s optimal. The amount of scrobbles not being recorded on zero chart grows every time I listen to music. I’m down -400 scrobbles rn that haven’t been accounted for and they’re not getting counted when I re sync. Just fully gone. I feel like the old way worked better for me. Any suggestions?
I also switched back to API mode because I feel like it is easier for me to get all my edited scrobbles on ZERO just like i have them on LASTfm
To me the only downside is that i can´t use the "Biggest eras" and "Artists with most sales" features but other than that i am happy with this mode.

Same here. Unfortunately the edit system in Zero Charts currently is too much work compared to just editing scrobbles in last.fm and then updating the API charts through the settings. Hopefully they allow for last.fm edits to show

Unfortunately, Last.fm doesn’t notify us through their database when scrobbles are edited or deleted. Scrobble Mode works directly with the isolated scrobble data itself, while the Classic model is basically a reflection of your profile pages.
While we work on better solutions, we created this new LOAD screen in Scrobbles. So you can update here, it's faster:
