Question About Certification Eligibility Period Calculation
I have a question regarding the music certifications.
Could you clarify whether the number of weeks it takes for a song to earn a certification is calculated from the first time the song is played or from the first time it enters the chart?
I also noticed that after refreshing the Certification page several times just now, the results were slightly different each time. I’m not sure if there might be an issue with the data collection or calculation.
I would really appreciate it if you could help clarify this or look into the issue. Thank you!
Hey! The weeks are counted from the week the song was first played, not from when it entered the chart. About the numbers changing: the Certifications page calculates those dates in the background and fills them in as it goes, so refreshing before it finishes can show slightly different values. Could you let it load completely and check if the numbers still change?
